Abstract

This study examines creditors' claims against debtors after the receivables verification
period has expired. This study aims to analyze the application for submission of creditors'
claims after the determination of the division of bankrupt assets has expired and to
analyze the legal consequences of the application for submission of creditors' claims after
the determination of the division of bankrupt assets has expired. This study is a normative
study. The results of the study indicate that the submission of debt claims by creditors that
have expired can be done if there are receivables that are then entered after the end of
the grace period determined by the supervising judge and have not been verified, then the
supervising judge can conduct a receivables verification. Then for debts submitted after
the expiration of the period, the payment of debts on the bankrupt estate will only be paid
if there is remaining money to pay it. For creditors who have not submitted a claim to the
debtor on the bankrupt estate, they must immediately submit a claim so that the creditor's
rights can still be fulfilled.
